We are pleased to share with you the latest updates on SAP S/4HANA 2022 FPS02 Sales. On May 26, 2023 SAP released the second Feature Pack Stack (FPS02) for SAP S/4HANA 2022.
Building upon the success of FPS01, which was delivered earlier this year, FPS02 introduces a remarkable array of capabilities that emphasize simplification, innovation, and an enhanced user experience.
The new SAP S/4HANA 2022 FPS02 release includes helpful updates for the Sales Line of Business(LoB). These updates in Order and Contract Management, focus on APIs and automation to boost company growth and success.
Claims, Returns, and Refund Management
The main improvements for Sales can be grouped into two categories:
- New APIs that allow better integration and communication with Sales processes
- More automation features that simplify and enhance Sales operations
Simulate Credit and Debit Memo Request OData API’s
With SAP S/4HANA 2022 FPS02 Sales, Debit Memo Request (A2X) and Credit Memo Request (A2X) OData API services enables simulation of the creation of a debit or credit memo request to obtain data, such as request data, business partners, and price elements.
Using these 2 new OData APIs you can simulate credit memo and debit memo requests in SAP S/4HANA system. Upon successful simulation you can trigger a corresponding create OData service – Credit Memo Request (A2X) (or) Debit Memo Request (A2X), to create credit and debit memo requests.
Deprecated Returns Inspection API
The OData API Returns Inspection (A2X) (API_RETURNS_INSPECTION) has been deprecated and replaced with the new OData API Returns Inspection (API_RETURNSINSPECTION_2). This deprecated API will be deleted in future SAP S/4HANA 2023 release.
Order-to-Invoice Automation
Automation of Order-to-Invoice with SAP Ariba Network (4A1) now supports sending header attachments on Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN) from SAP S/4HANA.
This automation connects SAP S/4HANA with SAP Business Network through SAP Integrated Suite, managed gateway, and automates sales processing for suppliers and trading partners.
